Chór Męski Lira
The Lira Singing Society’s Male Choir

The Lira Singing Society’s Male Choir was founded in Warsaw in 1990. Today it has around 15 active singers. The choir performs a cappella and accompanied works arranged for four male voice parts: two tenors, baritone and bass (TTBB). Its repertoire includes more than 100 sacred, folk, popular and patriotic pieces and grows every year. The choir performs regularly in Warsaw’s churches and occasionally elsewhere in Poland. It gives around ten public concerts each year, including patriotic programmes for Poland’s Independence Day and concerts of Christmas carols and pastorals.

The choir is led by Artistic Director Marcin Cmiel.
